What’s Yeji Up To
Yeji entered the Denver music scene in 2024, drawing attention for her warm tone, wide vocal range, and ability to move fluidly between genres. As both a vocalist and pianist, she blends influences from jazz, soul, R&B, and contemporary music, creating performances that feel intimate, expressive, and deeply human.
Her journey in Denver has been rooted in collaboration. She performs with two local groups—Special Blend and Sol Source, where she explores anything from jazz standards to contemporary pop. Her work with these ensembles has allowed her to develop a dynamic presence on stage.

Yeji is also a recurring featured vocalist at Dazzle, a Denver jazz venue. There, she has paid homage to timeless legends, stepping into the roles of Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald for tribute performances that highlight her reverence for jazz and her skill in interpreting the greats while retaining a voice uniquely her own.
